Only ONE head came with the studs and guide plates and when they were sent back, my customer was accused of keeping them. The guide to stem clearances were all over the place ranging from. I didn't bother pulling the seals to see how much trash was under the spring cups.ĩ. They were filled with chips, in the ports, pockets, guides, even a couple caught between the valves and seats. The heads were assembled BEFORE any cleaning was done and they obviously weren't cleaned afterwards either. Neither head had the same work done in the pockets and NO two ports looked anywhere near the same.Ĩ. You could clearly see 3 on the exhaust and 2 on the intake.Ħ. Their 5 angle valve job must have been the combined angles of the intake AND exhaust. NONE of the installed heights were the same.ĥ. They were ALL brinelled or "Kinked" in the middle.Ĥ. ALL of the valve locks were obviously NOT concentric. I'm sure that's real good for proper heat dissipation as well as seat retention.ģ. The valve seats were partially uncovered. Rocker studs tapped at the wrong angle so they don't seat properly or at all.Ģ. Here's the short list as to what was wrong with them.ġ. My experience was with a set of SBF Patriot heads but after that experience, I will NEVER stake my reputation on their crummy Chinese castings and even WORSE machining. Thanks Anyway for your is as always appreciated. 700" Patriots NEW for what I can buy 1 good used like say Brodix or Dart head for.so I am just checking to see if I can save a buck or 2.I also have a Head Porting Guy who can completely re-work the Race Rites that are now and easily bring them up to the 320 cc mark and get sufficient flow with the Valves they come equipped with so that is another choice but that is as costly as buying a set of the New Patriot heads.I have done some research on line and there is about a 50/50 split on good or bad on the Patriot's but was hoping to get some input from someone On here as well. 800" Ready for a really good price (compared to anything in that same price range new) but I am trying to keep the cost of this Motor down as much as is humanly possible (in order to keep peace here on the Ranch if you get my meaning ) and was just wanting some info from guys who have used them no matter what their experience was with them.kinda to see if they at all live up to the advertising they get.

GMC says a series of interior experiences convey the feeling of a “pre-launch countdown,” as the vehicle readies itself for a Watts to Freedom launch, which includes unique sounds pumped through the Bose audio system and “engaging screen animations,” on the digital instrument cluster and infotainment screen.I actually have a guy that I can get a REALLY nice set of BB-2xtra's from that are CNC'd and.

Watts to Freedom mode doesn’t just unlock the powertrain’s full potential – it also automatically lowers the Adaptive Air Suspension by two inches, prepping the vehicle for the launch by giving it a lower center of gravity. “It’ll put a smile on your face every single time.”

“It’s an amazing demonstration of just how fast 1,000 horsepower and 11,500 lb-ft of electric propulsion can move you,” Oppenheiser added. “It’s an all-encompassing experience unlike anything else - purpose-built for straight-line fun.” “Watts to Freedom unlocks the full potential of the propulsion system and puts all of its available power to the pavement,” GMC Hummer EV chief engineer Al Oppenheiser. Now that’s something for America to be proud of. This driver-selectable feature allows the user to unlock the battery electric supertruck’s full performance potential at the push of a button – enabling the 9,046 lb vehicle to hustle from zero to 60 mph in a scarcely believable three seconds. This July 4 th weekend, General Motors is turning fans’ attention to the GMC Hummer EV’s available Watts to Freedom mode. It’s hard to think of a vehicle that is more American than the military-derived Hummer, and with the Hummer nameplate now returning in the way of the GMC Hummer EV, the automaker is looking to leverage the brand’s patriotic history in its marketing materials for Independence Day.
